about Proclaim Aviation MinistriesWhat denomination(s) are you affiliated with?
Proclaim Aviation Ministries is a non-denominational mission that works with various Christian, evangelical organizations. See our Statement of Faith above. What Mission Organizations do you work with? We have strategic partnerships with several training and professional organizations, and have worked with a number of ministry organizations. Check out some of them HERE. How is Proclaim Financed? Proclaim is supported by various individuals and organizations who financially partner with us. Each missionary with Proclaim also begins assembling their own partnership team, which they will need for overseas ministry. In the meantime, these donations offset the salary and expenses paid to the missionaries by Proclaim. Does Proclaim "pay" its missionaries, or do they raise support? Missionaries serving with Proclaim Aviation Ministries participate in a "deputized fund raising" model. How is Proclaim accountable for the funds it receives? Proclaim is a member of the ECFA [Evangelical Counsel for Financial Accountability]. ECFA is an accreditation agency which principles focus on board governance, financial transparency, integrity in fundraising, and proper use of charity resources. How can I give to Proclaim or a Proclaim Missionary? Visiting our donate page is the easiest way to give. This will link you to our secure, on-line interface, and allow you to tailor your giving.

about joining our program...
How can Proclaim help me transition from training to the missions field?
Proclaim’s program is specifically designed to work with individuals that have all the required aviation ratings, and a heart to serve in missions; yet lack the required flight hours or maintenance experience to apply. Proclaim will arrange an internship that will allow the pilot to gain flight time through pilot service or flight instruction, as well as the required maintenance skills. Typically, after a year with Proclaim, the candidate will move directly on to their overseas mission agency.
I am a pilot with sufficient flight time and an A&P license, but lack maintenance experience?
We are glad to help aviators just like you by arranging internships with an FBO, maintenance shop or maintenance school.
What sort of flying would I be doing through Proclaim?
Primary flight building is accomplished serving as a flight instructor and/or through pilot service. A typical pilot internship will average 250-500 hours a year.
Does Proclaim provide additional flight ratings?
No. Proclaim specifically works with someone that already has all of the ratings as required by the mission organization they will be serving with.

Statement of Faith: |
Mission Statement...Our objective is to come alongside missionary aviators and cut through the time restraints and hindrances in their quest for overseas ministry. This is achieved by providing the opportunities and supports necessary to take these aviators from graduation to acceptance with a mission aviation organization, and subsequent overseas mission assignment, within a one or two year period. We have always been excited about aviation in foreign missions. We are excited about the vigorous impact it has had on missions. And now, we are even more excited about an opportunity to support mission aviation in a new and vital way. The resulting ministry, focuses on missionary pilot candidates just graduating from a flight program |
